This special webinar shares the conversion research of Chang Dou, Hanna Horhammer, and Oliver Jan from the University of Washington. Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows are critical to AHB’s success. They are answering important questions for the potential poplar-based biofuels and bio-based chemicals industry. In turn, they are gaining experience on an applied, interdisciplinary project and are better prepared for careers in academia and industry.

The webinar is divided into a series of short presentations that are tailored for a general audience. Topics include the concept of “poplar to biofuels,” biomass processing, and taking ethanol to jet fuel.
